Each sector is as you say one from Manchester to dubai 2 from Dubai to Bangkok etc so your entire trip would be 4 each.
You know the answer Laura sell your body , sell the children whatever it takes and go as many times a year as you can LOL
You can go in May from Manchester with emirates for the entire holiday costing about 700 squid.
I like to be away at christmas as well. We will be Krabi this time.
