No matter what country you are coming from there is no need to exchange any money BEFORE you leave home.
Once at Bangkok Airport there are plenty of exchange booths or ATM`S that will give you a better rate than what you get at home as the on the previous post 3 points difference also stick to ATM`S or F/X Booths through out your trip you will also get ripped of with the rate anywhere outside those places.
