Shootings of Thais are a daily occurance. Many foreign nationals get shot here too but most don't get reported beyond a small mention in the Pattaya Mail. There are so many bottom-feeding scum-sucking Thais of all 3 genders preying on tourists. I used to highly recommend Pattaya as a great holiday spot - good value & good fun. But after living here for the past 3 months and wittnessing first-hand the many changes, I could no longer recommend the place. It's few remaining positive factors are now greatly overshadowed by its negative aspects - crowded, polluted, traffic congestion, lousy beach, and rampant crime.
