Kata Noi is nice, but again more away from some action. I go to Patong from time to time, I have friends staying there, and Kata Noi is getting a bit too far.
I found these: The Kata Orient House, not far from club Med. Of course the Karon location I had was very good as it was a stroll over the hill to Patong and not that far to Kata beach.
Thanks for your sugestion, it is a good one, if you are not staying most of the time alone....
