Hi 2 weeks ago i stayed at the Bangkok Inn in soi 11 sukhumvit - for about 800/900 baht a night - it has a safe in the room,hot showers & toilet in room. very basic room but 4 backpacking it is ideal,(i will be staying there again on my way back on friday night) only 3 min walk to skytrain, & around this area there are many places to eat drink & shop.
