Hi there we stayed at the Horizon for 2 weeks in May and loved the place. We have two children 10 and 3 so a bit younger than yours but they loved it even though the kids club was not an organised one (you had to request a staff member to sit with the kids). We didn't use the games/internet room but the pool area is fantastic. The rooms are clean and only 7 months old. We found the staff really friendly and wouldn't hesitate staying there again. There is a shuttle that runs from Karon to the Horizon in Patong every hour which we found really handy. A tuk tuk to Patong would cost about 300baht one way so it was worth it. Also the hotel is on an tsunami evacuation point up on a hill but don't worry they have a phone at the bottom of the hill so you can call the tuk tuk and he will come a get you (maybe we are lazy but that hill wasn't inviting in the heat).
