Highly recommend, stayed there back in 2003, great hotel, great location for everything: shoping, nightlife, beach, good food. There is so much choice when it comes to eating out we hardly used the hotel for food but when we did it was very good. If I ever go back to Phuket then I would return to the Patong Merlin no doubt about that.
Only downside was that we went in october and it rained a fair bit, but I don't think it is like that every year in october.
You will enjoy it thats for sure, so much to do.........
