Can anyone recommend a place? I'm 26 & my travel companion is 28; male. I don't want to go out & party every night, maybe once or twice. We'll be staying for 9 days; arriving on the 16th of May. I don't want to be in the large crowds. I don't want a thousand other people sitting on the beach with me. I don't want men/women asking for us to purchase them. From what I read about Patong, it scares me a bit. Sounds more like a place a guy & his buddies would want to spend their time & may be I could venture there if I were is search from some action. We really want to stay in a hotel that is RIGHT on the beach. I don't want to stay in a place that is entirely too touristy. I don't want to be in the think of it, but would like to have the option to travel a short distance to Patong if I became bored.
Does anyone know of a nice, clean salon where I can get manicures, pedicures & waxes?
