For those of you planning to stay in Bangkok and arrange travel there, beware of a travel agents called "B'Sure". It is located in the area just opposite Kao Sahn Road with cobbled streets and is right at the end of this street. Sorry - I don't have the address! My boyfriend and I have just had a very bad experience with them. We booked tickets to India 1 month ago and were told we could pick them up when we returned to Bangkok a month later (ie today). When we got there we were told that there were no tickets and if we wanted to fly at the scheduled time, which we had planned for, then we'd have to pay over 3000 baht more! I don't know if it was a scam or just bad organisation but I feel that I should warn others as well as punish the agents as they can get away with this kind of thing far too easily. We have ended up out of pocket because of their mistakes!
