I'm scheduled to make a 10 day trip to Thailand. I was doing a tour of the southern beaches with a friend, who unfortunately can't make it because of work. Now I'm torn between the North and the South, and also trying to work out which are the best places to go given that I'm travelling alone...(for example, the best places to meet people etc, so I don't end up lying around on the beach by myself!) Any ideas?
