I have seen plenty of the traditional stuff while traveling over there but that is not what I am looking for. I have also seen many of the modern day shops, they are everywhere it seems, crammed into the smallest little nook in between say a travel agent and a go-go bar, LOL. The thing that I find amusing is that they have all of these pics and images of finished work on their walls or doors but I seriously doubt that they are the artists that actually did them. I have met a few Thai artists and their patrons along the way and when I show them what I am sporting, their reaction tells me that they may not be the talent that I am looking for. Don't get me wrong, I know that there are some good ones out there. I guess I could always consider a stop-over in Japan if I want to deviate from my guy locally ;)
