I was really lucky as my daughter fell asleep whenever we got on a plane for a few hours. I took a container of play doh and a plastic placemat to roll it on, some sticker books and pens etc. I also took her pillow and favourite toy. If you are going on a plane that has the tv sets you can pass a bit of time going through the channels. Show them the buttons and they love pressing them! I also took some bribe treats like sweets etc. Good Luck I am sure you'll be fine.
