Karin, You should not be getting charged full price for kids airfares . Children aged between 2 and 11 are charged 75% of the adult fare. If your 1 y/o is not occupying a seat then he/she will be free. As for accomadation, 1 child can normally stay free with 2 adults. The 2nd room will normally be given at a discounted rate. We are are family of 4 and I now refuse to book any package deals in Australia. There are always issues with only one child allowed in the room etc I normally book the airfares here and then book the room over the internet. If you do that you are paying for the room and not for how many people. Therefore if you book just one room all of you can share. Your children are only little so you should be able to manage. I normally take a couple of yoga mats and a couple of bed sheets. Saves us heaps of money.
