Bali Palm Welcome!

I have added a Taiwan travel forum; it was requested a while back, and having spent a few weeks there on my last trip exploring the west coast cities I have a few tips to share and can be on hand to answer any questions. Post away!

What are the highlights? Did you see anything on the East Coast? :) Any must-see places?

Aha... thanks for the post - this forum is looking rather unloved, isn't it? I will post some piccies. The East Coast is much more untrodden and wild compared to the populated West Coast. I have a desire to head back there one day and cycle the length of it... whether it will happen or not is another question!

Piccies to come. Are you off to Taiwan yourself, or just curious?

Both. :p I was really hoping to head out and see some of it in my gap-year. I'm going in winter, so I don't know what it will be like (the problem with having your longest holiday in everybody else's winter!) but I think motorbiking up the east coast would just provide the most spectacular views. :)

Hi everyone. I'm an expat living in Taiwan. If you have any questions about Taiwan travel I will do my best to help.

Thanks

Paul
