Smile New forum (country) suggestions please

Hi All
On a couple of previous occasions some members have asked about extending the number of (country) forums. I said then I wanted to wait as I did not want loads of quiet forum categories as this might well affect overall impressions / use. I think there are enough active users now though to add a country, so what are your suggestions?
Regards / RSVP
Mark

Mark,

In my opinion I don`t think there is enough interest in other S/E Asian countries to warrant there own forum so maybe just an area so there is a combined forum for say Cambodia,Vietnam,Philippines,Malaysia etc.

I think that Jamies suggestion is smart. People who have been to Thailand are naturally curious about these other places and often visit them together so it would make sense to have them together.

Why is "the rest of Indonesia " getting put on hold? Indonesia is a huge country, Bali is the last place I want to go and I have LOADS of questions about the rest of the country!!!

eg. What's the best way to get to the Banda islands (Moluccas) from Bangkok? Does the Puspita still leave Gorontalo (Sulawesi) on Thusdays?? What's the going rate for transport from the port to Iboih on Pulau Weh (N. Sumatra)?

Question Half of the whole

is better than none of it! Yes please Fio, but I still do not understand what editing privileges you want

I have an unusual brain as you know and it is often addled with wine/beer etc. My vision is often blurred on account of this, my very advanced years and various distractions while I'm posting.

Unfortunately by the time I've sobered up, found my reading glasses and told the distractions to get their hands off me or else, it's too late....I can't change my post. If no one has posted after me I don't see why changing something to make a post clearer or more accurate is a problem.

Also that wee box demanding that I make a confession as to why I add a comma or something is a bit aggravating ....but I've discovered it can't tell when I lie. This makes its whole existence a bit pointless but it does mean I can use it to constantly annoy you with remarks which demonstrate how silly it is.

Eventually you will cave in. I can be extremely annoying when it suits me.

PS I'm having a black coffee and just reread your post ...I'd ignored most of it before because it didn't seem a very coherent reply to my previous post on this thread.... just assumed you'd been on the wine and/or were being distracted too. I now see you were subtly underlining the importance of edit privileges when you post on the wrong thread by mistake.

Presume you're talking about Cha Am?

But where have all the Phuket examples gone??? I can't remember exactly what sort of info you covered in them. And where do I post my literary chef d'oeuvre about Cha Am, here or upstairs?

I reckon you just take some perverse pleasure in making things unnecessarily complicated.....

the Phuket material is under the Thailand Travel Forum headed Thai Experts Needed. If I am making things complicated for you, I am sorry, I leave the wine until I am off the PC as it is so do not know what to say!

Ah. Well unfortunately for you I am usually indulging in wine whenever I'm on a PC!

Sorry I just saw the second "Thai critiques wanted" thread with your Bangkok posts in it when I looked. Why are there two threads anyway?
Never mind, it's all too complicated for me...still can't quite fathom out how your earlier post on this thread replied to my post before it but I don't think this will keep me awake at nights.

Anyway, I won't be around for a wee bit as I have to catch a plane tomorrow. at last for the
