Fio comes and goes, sometimes she says she will not come back because either the forums do not have the questions she would prefer to see, sometimes because she does not like the way the forum works, which I have very little control over as it is an "off-the-shelf" package.

People are free to ask the questions they want. Unfortunately I can't answer most of them because I know nothing about 5* hotels in places like Phuket, Samui and Pattaya. Lots of people CAN help with those kinds of questions though so that's OK.

There are two categories of travellers, those that experience a country and those that take their home with them wherever they go.

I'm more the first kind of traveller I think, but there's not much demand for us around here apparently and I seem to have put your back up because I'm a bit thick when it comes to IT. I've spent hours trying trying to get to grips with the new technical stuff on here...actually I'm quite glad I did because I found a lot of previously unknown photo gadgets on my own computer when trying to downsize stuff etc. Still, I don't think my presence on this forum is indispensible do you? (Thanks for asking though Jaxw... see you in BKK for that beer one day anyway maybe?)
