Default Help

I tried to post a reply and when I previewed my post I couldn't find how to send it so it's just sitting there. Can anyone help. Thanks in advance.

Default Help

Now I've lost the post altogether. I don't think I have the energy to do it all again just now, especially if I lose it a second time, I'm not the most computer savvy person !!

Default Mark

Thanks Mark. I'll try again later. I just previewed this before I sent it and I saw the submit button. I don't know what I did before but I didn't seem to have that button. Maybe it was because I took so long or maybe I need new glasses!!!

The same thing happened to me. I was able to retrieve it the first time I made a post, but the second time I lost it. I think it was because I took too long writing. How do we make sure that doesn't happen, or how long before we're logged off and "in danger" of losing the message, Mark?

Default The easiest solution to this problem

is to initially type it up in MS Word, or similiar, save it as you go and once you have finished just copy and paste it into the dialogue test box in the forum.

I use this method when I am typing up something quite large such as a Just Back Report because I know I am not going to finish it in one hit anyway, then I can always come back to it later. But even for small posts it maybe a useful work-a-round.

Unless Mark can come up with anything better.

Wink It seems to depend

On what browser you use. I use firefox mostly and never have had a problem, BUT when I use Internet Explorer, it does time out so's to speak and I have to log in again. I think we have to blame Bill Gates, and why not, he deserves it.

Otherwise, yes, if it is long, do it in Word furst becos dat gets wid of yer spulling mestakes two.
