Smile Notice the new images / photos section?

Am still working on adding forum functionality to this area, but you can go ahead and (please) upload some pictures of your own by going to Picture Gallery

The thumbnail (random images) at the head of the main forum page is nice huh? If you add your own photos you can easily use them in posts on the forums. If you look in the smilies box (when you go to post a reply) you will now see an "images" link. If you have upload photos and click this, you can now also use your own photos in your messages (Fio and Ali, this should be good for you right?)

Default OK

Jaxw17, can you send me the files by email attachment to admin AT travelforum DOT org

Fio, I guess the default is for me to approve images; not a bad idea when you think about it, but I will look into if "super users" can upload without moderation - your photos should be there now though.

Thailand Sun Jackie / Fio

OK, Fio, one of your images was too big, Jackie all of yours were. I have posted all of your Fio as they uploaded no problem first time except for one; but maybe you can try editing the comments I made? Jackie, I uploaded one and resized / sent the others back to you so you can try and use your own personal comments.

I will try and find an automatic resizer for the photos section.

You can view the photos either by going to the categories or, if you look at your normal forum messages (one you have already posted) you will see in the top right hand corner of the message area the term Photos: plus the number of photos you have under your name as a link to click. You can of course send that to people as a gallery of your own photos.

Exclamation Am trying

to allow users who have posted above a certain level to upload photos and post comments without moderation. The problem is, currently, there are no spam / abuse filters on the photos side!

But your comments make the board eventually right?
