1) This site uses cookies. We use cookies solely for operational purposes on this forum.

2) We do not sell or otherwise pass any of your details on to third parties, except to prevent abuse (repeat trouble makers and spammers will have their details passed to various Internet organizations to try and prevent them from returning). If you allow your details to be "public", commercial email robots may be able to gather these details and pass them to Spam email organizations. If you make your data public, such abuse is beyond our control.

3) We are an English organization (see About Us) and will not pass any information on anyone to anyone without an English court order.

4) We monitor your IP address on this forum. Your IP address is actually the IP address assigned to you by your ISP (Internet Service Provider) when you connect each time to the Internet; it does not directly identify your specific PC or you. We monitor IP addresses solely to prevent abuse. For example we are able to ask an ISP to take action against their user by providing them with the IP address, date, time, reference and user name (if provided by them) so they are able to identify the user (their customer involved). ISP's do not provide us with your details but may take their own action against you for abuse. If they fail to stop abusive posters, our recourse is against them. We are able in most cases to trace back people who connect to our site using what are called "Anonymous" and "High Anonymity" proxy servers.

5) We will only ever contact registered users via email for forum administration, operational and notice purposes; we will not send you offers from our commercial sites. On that note, we will not post messages on the forums ourselves using pseudonyms feigning / pretending to be real people / travelers.
