I wish they wouldn't do this; Thai Army / Asylum Seekers
Hardly the smiling welcoming Thai image most expect.

Thumbs down Wow - The Thais keep doing it against UN requests

Thai Government has no control over its own military!
More Burmese pushed out to sea and to their fate!

Makes me think of the old adage expats used to repeat about Phuket (airport); " to Thailand, please place your wallets in the tray and have a safe journey home!" So when you arrive without a wallet.............!

Actually, I found the Thais to be very accommodating, even officials in Phuket, but I never had to deal with their army, thank God.
