Im going to thailand in march for three weeks and it would be awesome to meet up with someone to spend part of the trip with! Im thinking i'll be going to koh samui, koh phangan and phi phi, in that order, if anyone is at any one of those locations some time in march, let me know!!

I think you should prefer to stay in good hostels in Thailand as you are traveling solo. This way you can easily find a good company in hostels as there are many solo backpacker travelers.
