Travelling to South East Asia in May 2010

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone is planning to head to SE Asia in May? I maybe travelling alone, it depends if my friends can make it. My plan/idea is to maybe start in Singapore, head up through Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam then backto Thailand to explore the Thai isalands in the south...

Does anyone have a similar plan? If so please get in touch.

Hey Laura, I'm making a similar trip in late August. Have to attend the World Cup in June / July first!

I'd be interested to know what your route is and what you're planning on doing. Even if it's not the same time, maybe we can compare notes :)

mistadirty..... I am also planning same but taking into account where you live we may be in oposing camps at least in the first game

Mista dirty bootz - Wow that sounds great!

I now have a change of plan - I am going to travel from London to Bangkok, Singapore to Oz - Oz to NZ - NZ to fiji!

I will spend maybe 3 months in SE Asis starting in Thailand - Laos - Cambodia - Vietnam - Malaysia - Singapore. Although I haven't looked into what i will be doing in each place just yet - any tips will be appreciated..

Phil - I am from Manchester! I am just assuming you are being a MCFC fan. I am a red but it would have been good to know someone from the same area. what are you planning to do? I think I may do a group tour to start with to ease me in....

I arrive in Bangkok April 21st and plan on traveling around to the islands, doing some scuba diving and seeing Cambodia as well. Does anybody have any advice? Will anybody be there around the same time?
I'm from Toronto and Living in New York City right now.

I will be in phuket and koh samui between 7th may to 15th may with my friend from ukraine and from 15th may to 25th may in Bali with other travel mates.. If you wish maybe we can meet up and plan things together if you would be at these places in between the dates mentioned.
