Hey Chris, saw your post on the forum and me and my boyfriend are going to be in thailand for 3 weeks also, around the same time you are (we are going 22june-14july). We are both 22 and it is also our first time there...our plan is v.similar to yours...bangkok-->chiang mai-->down to surat thani to get ferries to ko samui/ko tao (to do diving PADI course)/ ko pha gnan (full moon is 9th july). Also want to fit in kanchanburi n khao sok national park if poss..seems a lot to do tho...have you come up with any more plans/ or advice for yours? So far, we have only booked flights n wondering whether to wait to book tours there or book em over the net. Would be good to do a tour together to get the prices down :)
