Default Tune Hotels

Has anyone stayed in a Tune Hotel? Either in Malaysia or the UK. For the uninitiated, they are a relatively new budget hotel chain who often run promotions of rooms for $0.05 or so (a limited number of; the room cost then climbs just like the budget airline model).

They seem to be expanding over here at least; as of 2012 they are in London and looking to open in Edinburgh (Scotland) and Liverpool as well.

Any reviews?

i stayed at the one in KL, Malaysia a couple of years back.
the room was relatively small, but wasn't squeezey or anything. we had to pay for the aircondition, can't remember how much it was for 24 hours. there's a ceiling fan that you can use if you don't wanna pay extra for the aircon.

the toilet was also a good size with separate shower. i'd say it's a good choice if you don't intend to spend a lot of time in the room.

Bali Palm Tune Hotels-more often not worth it

The 5c deals are very limited. IF u can book way ahead, stick with certain dates, then it is worth it, I suppose. If u look at their normal rates, I consider them not worthwhile. U can get pretty recent rates with all the bells & whistles thrown in (ie no need to pay extra for air conditioning...)
