i think westin hotel is a better choice, near to Kuah jetty n town. they hav a nice beach which is not crowded. hav visited my friends staying there but beyond my budget. last time we stayed in town itself, City Bayview hotel, about RM 250 per night including breakfast.
near to pantai cenang, a lot of nice hotel like Holiday Villa( book the suites, the beach is very sandy )
in tanjung rhu, hav one of the best beach n sea, there is a first class hotel, but a bit far from airport or shopping or local hawker food

try to look up the web for more info on hotels in langkawi

Default Things to do in KL!

hey there,
i just went to genting and sunway last month! what i feel is that Sunway doesnt really appeal to adults as their rides are not as adrenaline pumping as they claim to be... Genting is not bad for their rides but their main attraction is still their casinos. A visit to Chinatown which is a 30 min and 1 hr taxi ride from Sunway and Genting respectively should not be missed . There , you can find great food and bargain for cheap fake stuff!

Hope this helps!

I think the highlights of Malaysia are Heeren Street which is also known as the ‘First Class Gentlemen Street’ or the ‘Millionaires Row’, Khoo Kongsi in Georgetown, Petronas Twin Towers,Tengku Tengah Zaharah Mosque, Cherating Beach in Pahang and Gunung Mulu National Park Miri in Sarawak.

Another great place to go in Malaysia is Melaka. Great food and history there.
