Wink Hi Shanek

No problem, my skin is thick anyway. As I said, I too have very fond memories of Thailand and of the Thai people. For me it is the same as Bali. Not that I could, but I would never go back to Bali for a holiday. At this time, same too Thailand. I hope some people still go, but people who are ware and avoid the scams, hate, etc.

Unfortunately the domain may be worth more than the site, if you see what I mean. I have to research to find out how much this might go for.

Angry The story is being carried by the BBC

BBC Coverage
Interesting the King Power story was they were detained by police in a restaurant but their story is they were taken from the boarding lounge.

In any event, the fact Tony was "given" to them by the police but then they later said the couple's dealings with Tony was a private affair is very bad. Instead of a lawyer? Instead of the British Consulate? Corruption, corruption, corruption.

Stay away from King Power Duty Frees I say.

Hi
I was planning on booking a holiday in Thailand, just a 2 week package in a good hotel to celebrate a big birthday!
However after reading this thread, I'm somewhat alarmed. I will be travelling from the UK, a single mum with my 12 year old son, I was thinking of Krabi or Khoa Lak
What do you think?
Thanks, any advice would be great
Liz

God, this is really sad to read about.. Child prostitution is also such a rampant problem there.
