Default The best & worst

Whats the best & worst of your favourite part of Thailand.

My favourite part of Thailand is Koh Samui.

The best parts for me are the food & restaurants especially the beach ones where you have the sand between your toes with a nice early evening cool breeze,a wonderful selection of dishes & most important a nice cold beer.Thumbs Up

The worst parts are bartering/haggling..just something i`m not comfortable to do.I do it but i`ve seen tourists to to shake a vendor down 20 baht Thumbs Down why bother!!!!!.Another downer is how hard on occasions it can be to get a cold beer. It`s just not right that on occasions you have to resort to ice in your beer but it beats the alternative of not drinking Yeah

Wink Chaweng beach at night

used to be great, I do not know what it is like now. All the restaurants would set up display cases so you could see and then pick fish that was really fresh. The trick was to walk along and get to hear what specials each were offering, check out their fish, check out who had entertainment, then run back to the best.
:D

I guess the best place I've been to in Thailand is in Phuket and the worst will be Surat Thani.

Location: It varies. I generally try and avoid being in cold miserable places.

Any chance you could expand on that and tell us what you liked about Phuket and what you won't like about Surat Thani??
