Hi,

Me and my Girlfriend have been saving up the last 2 years to go travelling. We are ready to book and have had a quote. I was wondering if anyone could give any advice on whether this is a fair price and how much spending money we will need.

Flying from Heathrow to Thailand. Spending 3 months in there and working our way down to Singapore.

Singapore to Melbourne - then working our way upto Cairns so got 2 months in Aus. Then a flight from cairns back to Melbourne so we can fly back to Heathrow via L.A.

Got 4 days or so in LA.

For the flights it is going to cost £3000 for the both of us, is this a good price?

I know Asia is alot cheaper than Aus but how much spending money will we need to live? We want to do some excursions but not too many.

Will probably also travel by bus in Aus.

We are looking to go pretty soon, middle of Feb 2012!

Any advice is much appreciated :)
