Thumbs up Is it safe to travel to Morocco?

Hey guys,
I'm new here,i'm not sure this is right forum for my question, but hopefully you can help out.I'm planning a trip to Morocco middle of this month, but i'm a little bit concerned cause of the political tension in North Africa and the Middle East which according to the news include Morocco as well.I’ve seen the news reports about demonstrations and protests in some Moroccan cities .Is it going to be risky for me to travel to Morocco at the moment?
thank you,
Steve

Don't worry, you will be fine in Morocco. It is not a dangerous country. Unlike what we hear, there are no Al-Qaedas running around or all that stuff. Also, Somewhere in America, a woman is raped every 2 minutes, according to the U.S. Department of Justice. Maybe we shouldn't travel outside of our home? Like any big city, be street smart. Don't walk into alleys with people, and stick to the main stream. You'll be fine.
