Default Post your Weight Updates here!

Alright...I'm in.

I hate to admit it but I have really ballooned since last June. I went to Thailand at 85kg, came back at 90 and have continued to put on weight since. I just jumped on the scales and weighed in at an unhealthy 97kg!!!

I've got to get my Mojo back after 9 months of excessive drinking and ice cream consumption. The goal is to be back to 85kg by June.

Hey Steve.

Is there anyway that you can create a little spreadsheet that we can plot our weekly weights into? This could then be made into a graph so we can watch each others progress as an added motivation.

You might be able to sell some advertising space to a liposuction clinic to offset the costs...LOL.

Hehe... sure, if people report their weekly weights in this thread (and the weekly loss/gain), I can plot them on a spreadsheet and display it every week? As the quiz demonstrates, there's nothing like a bit of friendly competition to spur each other on

Thumbs up

OK, I will kick it off! As of Monday I estimate I am about 90 kg (about 14 stone). At 6' 2", this puts my BMI at the top end of "normal", teetering on the "overweight" range. I want to get it back to the lower end of "normal". This means losing about 15kg

A Body Mass Index calculator is here for you to use: Calculate your BMI - Metric BMI Calculator

I will struggle with weighing myself weekly as I am in rural Japan and I doubt I'll ever find any scales, but everyone else - report your weights here and let's get started... from Monday!

I weighed in at 98.2 this morning after a fairly hedonistic weekend.

It's my day off tomorrow and have a big session at the gym planned.

Short term goal is 95kg by april 12th.

I started my weight loss on August 20th. this year after my own and a close freinds birthday party. Inspiered by watching the "Biggest Looser" for a year I decided to get serious and make the commitment. Stoped drinking daily, cut down on my food intake & changed what I ate & daily exercise program. My wife even paid the tab to give me a personal trainer for 10 weeks.

Results are as of August 20 /10 I have gone from 97 kilos down too 71 today. I no longer take the 6 pills a day for my extreamly high blood preasure and now I am the same as my trainer. My colesteral count is dead on with both the good & bad types & continued use of daily coconut oil is still helping with improvment.

Wearing jeans my wife boxed up 10 years ago and gone from xxl shirts down to betweem med/large sizes. I no longer use my ventilator and now do a minimum 5 kilometers a day & 10 when I have more time.

Feel fantastic and the journey is still not finished ! I am in touch with Gary Holden, local Phuket "Biggest Looser" contestant from the first Asia show.
He has just finished the Laguna Triathalon just one month after doing an Ironman.

I am planning & training myself for the Laguna Triathalon next year.
Feel free to get in touch with any questions you may have and regards from Phuket.

Richard & Megumi
