Hi All
I'm Gary, planning on travelling to South East Asia in April.
My girlfriend and I have our one way tickets booked :)
We plan on going away for as long as possible, seeing friends in Hong Kong then onto Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia & Thailand then Singapore, Indonesia, & Malaysia if we have any money left.
We'll be using the forum, mainly for advice and possibly our experiences :)

Hi everyone!

Female, 22 years old from Northern Norway. Will start my first long trip to SE Asia (if you can call 2 months long.. it's so much to see!!) in the end of March. I will start off in India before travelling through a bit of Thailand, Cambodia and vietnam. After some time in vietnam my plan is to travel down to Malaysia, take a small detour to Indonesia (Bintan) before I end my trip with a few days in Singapore! Later this year I'll stay about a month in Japan as well.

I've only been to Thailand and Japan before, so I'm super exited about seing more of Asia and not to mention travelling alone :)

Cheers!

Default traveling to Europe

Hello everyone - I'll be traveling from Memphis to Germany in the fall with my husband, a friend and my son.
I'm interested in finding airline travel tips involving multiple destinations as we'll be coming back to the states from London.
And travel tips in general, I guess.
Another of our major stops will be Amsterdam.

Thanks,
Sandy

Default Help for sourcing clothing from thailand

Hi every one,

I am in the process of starting up my own small clothing business and would love some information on importing clothes from Thailand to Australia.

I am aware if its under 1000AUD i get to miss the GST and duties through customs.

Anyone that has been or is doing something similar to me, how would they recommend sourcing the clothing? Would i need to travel to Bangkok and source out some pieces or have people dealt with this online through wholesalers? I am a bit nerves doing it online.

Also has anyone had any good or bad experiences with Personal-Shopper-Bangkok.com ??

Thanks heaps

Eager business starter =]

I'm not sure if I can help you much about this. I'm Thai. I used to live in Sydney before. I would like to say that it is quit difficult if you didn't have a right person do it for you.

But before we go further, could you tell me what kind of clothes you like to import. Different kinds, different ways. You can reachme via Private Messaging on this forum. There is nothing much that this Thai friend can help you, but let me try :)
