Hope you find your son in good spirits and he is on the road to recovery.

For us it's hopefully going to be a quiet one... last weekend we had the g/sons all weekend, we had a barby and a fire with marshmallows not that they ate them, they just like watching them melt and burn LoL

Apart from doing nothing which I love, we plan to buy some new plants for the pots on the deck so we have a colourful show for Christmas... not that we can water them everyday as were are on water restrictions and can only water between 6 - 8 am two days a week.

Our weather in Melbourne is warming up and predicted to be in the high 30's by next week so the new plants could be dead by then

Cheers Geri

-5 degrees driving to work this morning - b***** cold!

Have two games of hockey to umpire on Saturday. First one is a ladies game which I do't normally do as it is so slow and like watching paint dry but I'm doing someone a favour. Second one is a men's game which is more like it - pacy and a bit more passion aka blood & guts. Just what I need after a stressful week at work!

Sunday will depend on the weather - dry means cutting hedges, wet means doing nothing.

Smile This weekend

Hi Jawx
I was wondering how you were after your op so came on here and there you were, were going to the garden center to spend a fortune today still trying to get our place back in shape after the storms hit last June while we were in Phuket. We put a water tank in 2days ago so were waiting for rain suppose that sounds funny to you ,but we have level 4 water restrictions here-no water to be used outside, cant even wash the car.We can buy a permit if we spend over a certain amount on new plants. You wished me a happy birthday in September,I was going whale watching well we went in hugh seas got soaking wet never saw a single whale but had the best time it was like the united nations we were the only passengers who spoke english{the people who went the next day saw 12 whales} when we got home my whole family was there with my suprise pressy,a chocolate labrador puppy, her name is Ruby and she is gorgeous but a little devil.Sorry if I've got a bit carried away here hope you keep well Joy.

I feel fab. Have not had to take any insullin since my op and have already lost about 24 pounds in 3 weeks.
The whale thing - that would happen to me or they would be waving behind me without me seeing them.
I would get myself a dog only the place that we have out static caravan won't allow dogs. i think that i would call it damn it, so i could say get down damn it!

Nice that you were thinking about me that means a lot.

any more trips to the LOS booked?

It's Sunday, it has been raining for about 10 hours, it's cold and I think winter has really arrived! Beware of wishing to have a day doing nothing - alright in the summer but it's only midday and I am already bored.

Still, I think I will light the fire, stake my claim to the sofa and find a slushy film to watch.
