All ready to go to work, day planned and the car won't start! Ring the breakdown people and am told it will be about 1.5 hours before they get to me - can't really complain as I am home and not stuck on the roadside.

However - what do you do for 90 minutes when you're all dressed up in work clothes? Morning tv is rubbish, no emails waiting to be answered, nothing much happening on the forum (was on last night so read all the posts then). Did the ironing last night as well!

Not even missing any boring meetings at work as the diary is empty today!

Oh well, another cup of coffee and I suppose I could start my christmas cards - no I couldn't!!!!

I was like that yesterday waiting for the carpet fitters to come.
I really really hate being tied in.
Hope the car is ok now- carpet fitted- walking round on our eyelashes that won't last for long.
