Thailand Sun Just general stuff...nothing terribly exciting!

Hey all!

Well, I though you'd all be pleased to know that I'm almost finished the conclusion! I think I'm more excited about finishing it than thos of you who have been waiting to read it!

I've just been browsing through this site for the past couple of hours now (not a lot on at work) and I forgot how much I loved and just realised how much I miss it - and miss all of you!!! I must say, we are quite quirky, aren't we?! I laughed out loud so many times whilst reading all the different threads!

Finally, I just thought I'd tell you that I had my Dad's surprise party last Saturday - which I organised - and it was absolutely fantastic! Dad had no idea and he was in tears top begin with. Was a very memorable night. It was probably the best thing I have ever done for anybody and it was worth all the time, effort and money that was put into it just to see that smile on my Dad's face! I will put photos up on my bebo home page soon for those of you that want to see as we went all out with the decorations and the backyard looked like it'd been professionally done - otherwise I may even post a couple of here. Speaking of which, I saw all the photos on here today and they are fabulous! I agree that it's so good to finally be able to put faces to the names! I went ahead and posted some photos from our trip last year on here too - I even put them into an album...even though I have no idea what good that does. I have randomly selected a few out of the 1000+ that were taken and I have added commentary for those who did (and didn't) follow the JBRs.

Okay, well, this was supposed to be a short posting but as it turns out, that's not quite the case now is it...that's not like me at all! bahahaha

Anyway, hope you all have a fabulous weekend. Mark, enjoy your birthday and Jax, if I don't speak to you beforehand, enjoy Cyprus! Oh, and Gar, hope you and Dee are well. I've been meaning to text you lately but things have been so crazy with organising Dad's party. I'll be sure to do so soon!

Clearly we have all missed you greatly (self included) and are so very pleased that the party was a success. I am sure that it will be "one of those" defining moments that is remembered by a lot of people for a long time. I believe that you truly are an

Smile Hi Ali

Thanks, I enjoyed coming home more than my birthday though! Nothing wrong with my birthday, friends and family present for a fish and chips fest, but I / we love our home here so much that staying away has to be somewhere really special in order to make us want to do it for the sake of the holiday itself; the UK was a family trip, so different. Am really glad you had a great time / everything worked out well for your dad's party.
