It's a cold, wet miserable Sunday - oh to be sitting overlooking the beach with a cold beer and watching the world go by!

Ditto. Friends came for dinner last night and one of them was Jo who came out to Samui with us this year we spent a god half hour looking at her photos.............if only where next Alison? have you anything planned?

We've nothing planned yet. Will hit Bangkok or Singapore and are looking at somewhere in LOS off the main tourist routes but comfortable as we don't do basics! We'll wait and see what the economy does first both here and there. Also, our cat has just been diagnosed as asthmatic and as she doesn't do tablets (I still have the scars to prove it!) when she has an attack we will have to use an inhaler on her. It hasn't arrived yet so that will be another new experience! Not sure how this will affect the cattery stays, although the one we use is very good, so we need to sort that out as well. I can't believe that a poorly cat would stop us going on holiday, well it won't but you have to think of all these things! Good job I took out insurance when we had her, first time I had ever done it and we have always had cats. Terry said she'd be six foot under by now if we hadn't, he didn't mean it really!

I don't blame him if he did. Those vets know how to charge. i have been pricing up Samui and it has sky rocketed so I am starting to think maybe koh chang or somewhere else. the flight alone to samui will put on another £300. Need to find out about Daves shift pattens with the new job before i can book anything. and i have my breast reduction operation on the 22nd of this month. when we have got that out the way I will have another think.
