Had a tooth out today go on say ahh.

Really do not like the dentist. Its all pain from here until we go teeth out, feet done, legs and eyebrows waxed.........

Never mind it will be worth it.

Default Ah!

I know what you mean but the thought of it is far worse then the reality! Would you ever think about having dental work done in Thailand as some people on the forum seem to have done? I think it's bad enough in your own country but when you speak a different language I'm not sure.

I went the dentist a couple of weeks ago and had to have an injection for the first time for 40 years. I was so not looking forward to it I nearly went to my doctor to get some diazapan to calm me down.

The dentist was really good at injections (did I really say that?) and after the 15 seconds of the needle, the rest of the hour appointment was no problem. The worst bit was paying £250 for the work as you can't get an NHS dentist in my area.

Every dentist I've seen in Thailand speaks impeccable English... most get post graduate training in the States after they've qualified in Thailand. Had a root canal done a few months ago....totally painless unlike experiences with dentists back home... and the equipment generally state of the art....much better than back home too. You can also get appointments almost immediately and it costs less to get work done than in the West.

I think that i would consider it but I had an abcess and need to get it treated. i now have one under my bottom tooth!
I have a condition called Myalgic Enchephalmillitus (ME) This means that my immune system is comprimised and I tend to get everything. hence the pnumonia last year.
It was my dentist that encouraged me to seek medical help in the first place quite a number of years ago.
over the years I have had so much dental work hence I anm now really frightned of the dentist. I get mad with myself because I think that i shouldjust get on with it.
After being in hospital in thailand last year it would encourage me to seek treatment from there. Hope i don't have to sample it this time (please)
