Unhappy Need Help Please

We have been asked to go to Bali in March as it is a friends 50th Birthday, the only stumbling block is my husband does not want to go if it is going to be raining. As our holiday this year in Thailand rained nearly everyday except for two days, we went at the end of April.

We where thinking of going at the end of March beginning of April
has anyone been at this time and could tell me what the weather was like then

Many thanks :)

Thailand Sun Hi Sharrie

Where did you go in Thailand in April? You must have been unlucky!

March in Bali; take a look at the historical weather info and you will see that March is not as bad normally as February, but it is still likely to rain a bit. The drier weather does not normally start in Bali until the end of April, beginning of May (when it gets hot and muggy and there are lots of mossies around). I think April is a beautiful time to go as it will be green and clean and there will be fewer tourists around (although that is not so much a concern these days unfortunately). Generally you will see it coming, unless it is night time, as these huge clouds so clearly head towards you; so you can work around them (wait until it starts and be ready near the coffee shop you fancy). I would not let it put you off; if necessary, lie to your husband!

Hi Sharrie. Was in Bali late March early April this year and the weather was fine. Had a couple of tropical downpours but it was over quickly, the water drained away and it was all systems go. Enjoy.

Default march/april

Hey Sharrie I actually prefer to go to Bali in March/April. The weather is still warm and the rain generally falls in the late afternoon , cools the place down, cleans the air and the evenings are then fabulous.
