Long live the new Bali and Lombok Travel Forum

Twas a sad day and an insult to me wallet when the land lubber serch engine Google did treat me old forum scripts the same way as "gateway pages" on Spam sites, ah but they did! The previous scripts / style was old but that did not call for agism by them folks in Californeaiaye. I spent many a dubloon getting them there scripts working just right to stop the v ia gra ads an all. For many a year Google weres happy with "wwwboards" they weres. Then they went and turned against us they did, ah!

Anyway, I had to change forum styles as messages on the old forum were no longer being indexed by Google and strange things were happening to their search results (when you searched on Google for the "Thailand Travel Forum" it returned the old "Bali and Lombok Travel Forum" as number one, but not the real Thailand travel forum, if you see what I mean.

I have made a token reference back to the good old forum (in operation since 1999 no less) by including the little palm tree icon as a post icon here. I actually got this icon in 1999 from a free web graphics site and kept it ever since, and on my company's reservations site travelideas. Maybe not the cutting edge in business web graphics but there you go, nostalgia sometimes rules OK!

So here is (and long live) the new Bali & Lombok Travel Forum, a testament to my continued support for Bali / Lombok and clear evidence this traveller aint going to go away Victory
