Default Kid friendly resturants

Hi here is my first real post... We are travelling in Jan, ma & pa and 4 sleep disturbers!! (8 - 17) I would like a few recommendations for resturants that arent too posh but that have something to occupy kids of our age range stretch (ie TV, pool table or other entertainment).
We will mostly have to eat at more western type food places as 2 of the rat bags are not at all easy to feed (very fussy) and wont even try asian food even at home.
The rest of us love it of course so a few resturants that combines both on menu will be great to know about. Just not to have to cook for 14 nights will be a dream for me!!
We are booked into Jayakarta apartments if that helps for location but we will take taxi's to anywhere good recommended.
Hubby's B'day(50+++) our 2nd week so any suggestions for that would be nice but the kids will be coming so not romantic just really fun and nice.
Also a best recommend for dinner our very first night... I like to start off with a good memory!!
Thought Larry and his twin boyz may have lots of info for me on this, I loved reading his boys blurbs I hope I can get my younger two to write a dairy.
cheers Deb

Hi Deb,
There are many places you wont necessarily need somewhere with tv, pool table etc, as the people parade is always good entertainment in it self. A few tried & true family friendly restuarants are: Indo National in Padma St, owned by aussies and great food both indo & Oz, Legian Snax, Rum Jungle, Poco Loco (mexican) for your hubbys bday try Koori's in Poppies lane, will keep thinking and give you some more soon

Hi Deb

Another great novelty restaurant for the kids is Bubba Gumps which is opposite Discovery Mall. Although a little more expensive by Bali standards it is a great restaurant for families. The restaurant is themed on the movie 'Forest Gump'. I definitely recommend it as a place to try out and I am sure you and your family will have a great time there.
