Friday 24.08.07

We went shopping at Ramayana department store in Denpassar
Mum and Dad bought two large suitcases.
We caught a silver taxi home and went to the beach.

Saturday 25.08.07

We had scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast.
We had fun on the boogie boards doing surfing.
We gave Mum a water massage.

Sunday 26.08.07

Dad bought was wooden recorders on the beach.
We had noodles for lunch.
We built dams in the wet sand on Legian beach.

Monday 27.08.07

Our big day at Turtle Island.
We caught a glass bottom boat to Turtle Island.
We saw 10 lots of fish and coral on the way.
We held small and big turtles and fed them sea weed.
One turtle was 45 years old.
We also held a python snake, a big black bat, a toucan bird and an eagle.
We also patted a big lizard.
We held a baby turtles that were 3 weeks old.
They also had a monkey and some chickens.
We got the last boat home.

Tuesday 28.08.07

Mum and Dad organized a big party on the beach with all our Bali friends.
We ate Babi Guling (suckling pig), Ayam (chicken) and nasi (rice).
We all had a good time.

Wednesday 29.08.07

We played with some friends Megan, Matthew and Sam on the beach.
We had pizza for lunch and also honey dew and mango.
A dog tried to bite Dad on the way home.

Thursday 30.08.07

We went to Centro and we bought Krispy Kreme donuts again.
We went swimming in the pool this afternoon.

Friday 31.08.07

Yesterday we had a ride on a horse and cart.
Today we went to the Elephant camp and rode the elephants.
The elephants were 20 years old and they were called Happy and Aggie.
We fed them carrot, pineapple and paw paw.

Saturday 01.09.07

We went to the beach and made a sand castle.
We ate nasi (rice), bananas and honey dew.
Mum and Dad bought some bowls from Lisa.

Sunday 02.09.07

We had a big breakfast with bacon, eggs, sausage, waffle, pancake, fruit and juice.
We played with our friend Zig on the beach.
We got a dark green taxi home that had a dvd player in it.

Monday 03.09.07

Today the beach was closed because the waves were too big.
The red flag said no swimming.
We bought some clothes at the melasti street markets.

Tuesday 04.09.07

We played with the Italian girls on the beach.
We ate noodles, honey dew and mango for lunch.
We bought wafer biscuits at circle k.

Wednesday 05.09.07

Mum got her hair braided today.
We went to the beach for the second last time.
Sally did mum’s finger nails and toe nails tonight.

Thursday 06.09.07

We went to the beach and rode our boogie boards.
We said good bye to all our beach friends.
Mr Elvy’s took us to the airport in his red van.

Friday 07.09.07

We got a plane at 12 o’clock midnight from Bali to Darwin.
We got another plane at 6 o’clock from Darwin to Cairns.
We got one more plane from Cairns to Townsville.
We caught a taxi home from the airport at 2 o’clock.

Excellent reports. Well done.

What a great experience you had with all the wildlife and such a wide variety of creatures to get so close to.

I just love the tropical fish and the world under the sea.

Mum's water massage sounds quite lovely and loads of fun for everyone.

WOW - it sounds like you all had the best time ever!
I am glad you enjoyed your stay - sounds like with all that outside activity you must have all come home with the best tans!
Maybe one day we will all get over to Bali at the same time - then you guys can catch up with my twin girls!!
