Hi all,

My kids had to write a journal of what they did each day in Bali as part of there home schooling whilst we holidayed for six weeks. This is part one. If it is not too boring I will keep them going on the keyboard with the next two parts.

Thursday 26.07.07

We got a taxi.
We then got a bus.
Then we got a taxi.
Then we got on a plane.
We got another plane.
Then we got a taxi to the hotel.
We then went to bed.
We are sleeping in Bali.

Friday 27.07.07

We went shopping.
We bought a car and dvds.
We ate rice and noodles for dinner.

Saturday 28.07.07

We went to the beach.
We caught 16 crabs.
We ate watermelon and bananas.

Sunday 29.07.07

Today Elvy’s drove the red van to the shops.
On the way we saw rice growing.
We also saw some cows.
We saw some kites flying.

Monday 30.07.07

We went to the beach at double six 66.
We made a friend called Jasmine.
We caught big waves on the boogie board.

Tuesday 31.07.07

We went to the beach again.
We ate watermelon and bananas.
We bought sunglasses and hats.

Wednesday 01.08.07

We built a volcano on the beach.
It was made of sand and had smoke coming out of it.
We caught a blue taxi home.

Thursday 02.08.07

Today the waves on the beach were big.
Dad said no riding boogie boards today.
We played with our trucks in the sand and had a race.

Friday 03.08.07

We drew a plane in the sand.
Dad took a photo of the plane.
We caught a silver taxi home.

Saturday 04.08.07

We played with Jasmine again.
We caught 313 sea snails.
Dad bought a blue shirt and a silver bracelet.

Sunday 05.08.07

We played soccer on the beach with the Bali big kids.
We ate 7 bananas and pizza.
We also found a coconut.

Monday 06.08.07

Mum did not come to the beach today because she was sick.
We made racing car tracks in the sand.
The sun was very hot today.

Tuesday 07.08.07

The lifesavers closed the beach because the waves were too big.
We helped the Dutch boys a hole and buried one of the Dutch boys.
We found 405 shells at the beach.

Wednesday 08.08.07

We had fun riding the boogie boards at the beach.
Mum bought 3 gold watches for Nanny.
We played soccer with a tennis ball.

Sounds like you had a wonderful time. Sorry to hear mum got sick. Hope she got better quickly.

Thank you for reading part one of my journal.

Mum was only sick for one day. Dad said she had Bali Belly.

I am typing more of my journal now but Dad is helping me cause there is lots to type.
