Exclamation Hi akimiito

It truly depends on the time of year as to whether it is possible to snorkel in Bali, so you need to look at that. Amed is nothing special, except for the public beach in Lipah (one of the villages that makes up the area known as "Amed"). It depends on whether you want to snorkel from the comfort of your hotel lounger when you please or whether you want to go on trips. Anyway, I think of all the places in Bali, Pemuteran is your best bet as a) it has snorkelling (coral project as well) off the beach in a fairly sheltered bay area so you will be able to snorkel there even when other areas you can not. Plus it is only 40 minutes drive the the National Park area that serves Menjangan Island, which has probably the best snorkelling in Bali but for how much longer (unfortunately it is not what it once was).
