Thumbs up Bali Hotels & Villas

My new charitable site Travel Ethos is now up and running: Hotels Reservations - 100% of the commission earned from direct reservations by this site will go to children's charities in Bali and Thailand. Before any observant people ask, my main previous / existing site travelideas (dot net) is currently still operating separately BUT all commissions it earns also now go to the same charities; I have not diverted / changed travelideas yet solely for search engine ranking reasons. I suspect in about 2 or 3 months I will be able to redirect it to my new charitable site, but all direct commissions from it do now benefit the charities as well.

Do you have a favorite hotel or villa in Bali?
If they are not on Travel Ethos or if they are on the site but only via a wholesaler, maybe you can make them aware of the site and ask them to join? Travel Ethos only charges a paltry 5% commission and this goes to a deserving kiddies charity in Bali (the Bali Children's Project) not to me or some travel agent.

Any help you all can give in helping Travel Ethos help impoverished children in Bali would be really appreciated.

Smile Thanks guys

I hope both the money and the awareness to the problems of children in impoverished places we consider paradise, such as Bali and Thailand, will both help.

Hi Mark,

I have tried to use Travel Ethos to make contact with Taman Sari in Pemuteran but no responses. I sent a booking enquiry on Saturday morning and it is almost 4 days later and still no response. I am used to this sort of thing taking a day or maybe two which I understand but I was wondering if there is a technical hitch or something?

Regards,
David

Default Hi David

I checked, the email went to them alright. You got a travel ethos email right? Best email or call the hotel from the email you got from the system. There is no technical hitch on travelethos, maybe the hotel has internet or email problems.

Mark, I received a reply from Tamin Sari 2 hours after posting my query. The reply came with an apology for the slow reply. By the way, I didn't receive a system email like I used to from TravelIdeas.

Cheers,

David

Default Hi David

I checked, they are being sent as they should; maybe check your spam box or filter settings?

Mark, outlook is set at the lowest level of spam filtering. I always go through my junk mail folder before deleting because I have had some wanted mail filtered out at times. Didn't see it and at the time I thought it was odd not to receive it. One of those things. Perhaps I will make a second enquiry to Taman Sari in follow up through Ethos and see what happens this time.

Regards, David

Mark, I sent a follow up (legitimate) enquiry to Taman Sari via Ethos over an hour ago and didn't receive a confirmation email from the system. I have been vigilant in my checking of the junk mail folder! I have also checked that my email address is registered correctly.

David
