Default not that cheap

Depends of the condition of the board, but be aware that they are usually pretty expensive. I am living in France and it's not cheaper than here, you can look around 3 3,5 millions rp for a decent one.
If you don't stay more than 2 weeks, renting is a better option.

Smile depends

its depends with the condition for the surfboard, u can find the price from IDR 1,5 million until IDR 4 million. Two days ago friend of mine bought second hand surfboard and he got just only 1,5 million rupiah and still good condition. so its depend the condition and how you can bargain with them. :)

Default 2nd Hand Boards in Bali

Yeah they are right, at the proper surf shops like volcom and rip curl stores they are no cheaper. If you head down into downtown Kuta like poppies Lane 2 or Benis Ari you will find the lads will hook you up but they'll try and overprice you for sure.. Part of the fun! Last cheapos I paid for was an old Merrick and another shaper I'd never heard of, no dings, just a bit fat and heavy (not much) and I paid 1 million each for them. I'm no pro but they serfved me very well.

Default second hand boards Bali

Yes you can find local ones for cheap but believe me there is a reason in the price difference. (low quality foam, light finishing)
If you stay one month in Bali, that's ok. But if the idea is to get to Bali to bring back a board, bad idea...
