Default Looks Lovely

But it is getting a bit further away from the 'central' area. As the development in Bali is moving further out this way with many beautiful, luxury villas and villa complex I'm sure the infrastructure will follow. There are a number of places to eat not too far away in Jl. Batu Belig and I noticed the New Cafe Moka is marked on a map nearby.

Mutiara Bali Villa & Spa in Jl. Beraban, Seminyak (and not the one in Jimbaran which came up when I googled it) have private pools with villas, according to Agoda's website. This property is close to a many of restaurants, the beach, shops and deli's. You may get better value for your money a bit further out and taxi's are everywhere so not a huge problem to get anywhere you need to go.

From my understanding Grand Avenue is in the Umalas/Batu Belig/Petitenget area and Mutiara is in the Seminyak/Kerobokan area. The general broader area seems to be known as Kerobokan. Am I confusing you? We're all confused, ha! I think as these areas develop more their names will become more established.

Anyway, you are on your honeymoon, you have about 8 days in this area and exact location is probably not significant as long as you spoil yourself and your wife and have the most fabulous, romantic and unforgettable time.

It's not easy to choose as so many places look divine.

Default Hi

I haven't heard of this one but have probably driven past it many times. Location in Jl. Beraban looks good. One website/booking agency map showed it way out i.e. much further north around Batu Belig area but another website map gave the location and address as Jl. Beraban. Double check on this point to make sure where it's located. If you've got a good deal it looks like a wonderful property and ideal choice. Perhaps, unless you've done so already, ring the hotel direct and confirm booking and location.

Jl. Beraban starts near Jl. Laksmana and comes out on Jl. Raya Kerobokan. Most of the road is rather broken up with potholes but closer to Jl. Laksmana it improves. Plenty of taxi's passing by and walking from here would not be a problem.

Good luck.

I'm going away for 3 weeks to Queensland. Will check the forum on my return and hope to get some news of your final choices.
