Default Just got back from 6 weeks in Bali...

and we had the BEST time........ Stayed at Garden View Cottages in Legian... not the flashest place but the price is right in our budget allowing us to have a longer holiday. Spent lots of time just relaxing and watching the world go by.
We went to Tanah Lot, Safari Park, Zoo and Shopping Tours. For our tours we used "What Ever Bali Tours". The driver was great with the kids and we booked some of our tours before we left Australia and got a free massage thrown in. We also used them to hire a 3 wheel pram and bottle food warmer for the little one. And they had the car seat in the car for him and did not charge us any extra.... and he allways had ice in the esky in the car so I could keep Jacks bottles cold. Kept Dad happy as well.....
Bought heaps of kids clothes and shoes for me.... Dad bought lots of Bintang......
Had heaps of fun and can't wait to go back.....
Jackie

Default Wonderful

Pleased you had such a great trip.

I have stayed at Garden View many times in the past but not for a number of years now.

It's a great budget hotel and I've always found the rooms comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. They did some renovating a couple of years ago but not sure what that involved. Location is very central which is another positive aspect of this place. The lack of luxury never bothered me as all necessary comforts were provided.

Very good that your tour driver was so organized and catered for your family/children.

Catherine
