Well being a drunken auzzy myself i dont think i would mind being surrounded by other drunken auzzys, but am planing alot of trips to remote parts of bali, and alot of really good tours.

Give it a few days there before you commit to any tours or drivers.

Drivers are very cheap and readily available 24-7 in Bali so you can hire them as you need them and a whole day can cost less than one cab fare to a club at home!

Paddys The bounty and the Engine room will be the go most nights and you will have a lot of fun

Poppies 1 poppies 2 and the gangs in between will have your cheapest everything so dont drink the bar fridge in your hotel and get ripped off!

Im going to bali from nov 1st untill nov 15th!
staying just out of Kuta at Legian paradiso Hotel
me and my boyfriend are going.. were 18!

Interested place & things to do in Bali :
1. see the sunrise at sanur & sunset in uluwatu is a must
2. jimbaran dinner is refferenced
3. dance performance need to see is : Barong dance, kecak fire dance & Ubud Legong dance.
4. fortune panoramas of high hill Bedugul and Virgin Munduk, is refferenced.
5. seen the famous temple is a must
6. do some adventure things : rafting & others is a must
7. Try to have riding an elephant .... is GOOD

Ahhhh thanks everyone for your input, definitely heaps of helpful information. Whats the monkey forest like? my friend refuses to come with me but i want to see it lol, his scared of being bitten.
Got my shot last week, so now its just the waiting game for the 6th of November, real excited.
was thinking of doing the white water rafting, but knowing my luck i would come off and injure myself lol, so maybe keep that for later in the trip?
Riding an Elephant is a must! cant think of anything cooler lol. Went and got an underwater cam the other day so i can take photos where ever i am =].
Me and my mate have already mapped out Bali's club/pub scene, and our hotel has an Irish pub in it, so that's pretty cool.
