Default Israeli stamp for Indonesian trip?

Hello,

I'm a young French guy, presently travelling around the world, and damned! I get my passport stamped by Israel ; I already had to cancel my trips in Iran, Syria, ... and I heard about problems with Indonesia about this stamp.

My question is simple : will Indonesia accept my Israeli-stamped passport, and could I travelling there?

Thanks for your reviews!

Civili

I can't speak from experience, but I don't think it would be too much of a problem. Call or email an Indonesian consulate/embassy ahead of time....or if you're more risky, rip out that page of your passport...make it look like an accident :)

I couldn't recommend defacing a passport! That's a one way ticket to hassle-ville

Default Terrible advice

Sorry but defacing your passport is a big NO NO! A fast track to big trouble. And you really, really don't want to do it in a place such as Indonesia where people are extremely sensitive and authorities may make an example of you. This directly translates to "I have something to hide and you should take a close look at me and find out what it is".

I can only assume that MistaDirtyBootz was making a joke!

Hassleville is not a place you want to visit.
