Bali Palm Gianyar night markets

Anyone been to the Gianyar night markets. I saw it on a travel show about Bali last week and the food stalls look interesting. Just wondering if it is worth the trip from Ubud for a night out.

Default Gianyar night market

Sorry, I've never been but sounds like it would be interesting to see. I'd give it a go.

We went for dinner, the famed babi guling(roast pork) a year ago and enjoyed ourselves. Very un-touristy- locals buying the ordinary stuff locals need, The pork was underwhelming- small portions, mostly fat & crackling, but it was pleasant to eat at the warungs, drink beer and watch the ordinary Balinese world go by. Tonyw
