Bali Palm Hey long lost friends!

Hi everyone!

Unsure if there are many regulars around who remember me - but I re-found all of you! Life got busy, hectic etc etc and I lost contact with all fellow Bali lovers - but tonight have found my way back!
Looks like I have loads of catching up to do.

Hope you are all well and I look forward to the many Bali chats ahead!

Take Care

Amanda (with the twin girls!)

Default Hi Amanda

Nice to see your message. I don't know where everyone has gone and many regulars from the past have been absent. Bali has suffered a great deal in recent years as we all know and although it is recovering perhaps many people have moved on.

The face of Bali seems to have changed with many more luxury and upmarket hotels and villas and areas developing around and beyond Seminyak. There are certainly some wonderful new restaurants too.

I wonder what the impact of travel warnings has had combined with bombings in Java and therefore concern for more trouble of this kind in Bali itself. Also the impact of the Corby debacle - maybe nothing or maybe yet another layer to Bali's reputation being damaged.

Still, Bali is surviving and tourism has been picking up with many people just getting on with it and for the most part ignoring any negatives.

All the best.

Catherine
